Christmas Cards

So I ordered our Cards back in October from a company called Artscow because they had some really good deals. Well I have complained twice on the internet since the call center is just a voice mail and I have found out they are located out of HONG KONG. Needless to say I am not sure if anyone will be getting our Christmas card this year so I am just going to e-mail it out and post it on our Blog. ENJOY -Happy HOLIDAYS everyone!!!

Fresh Fruits and Vegtables

For the last three months we have been getting a share of food from the co-op. https://foodco-op.net. It is a really cool program where you buy in for a a share or two or however many shares of food you want. The program is for anyone who EATS! The cost for one share is 23 dollars. It is available all year long. This month the share is below. The normal share is about 4 kinds of meat, 5 vegtables, 4 fruits, a loaf of bread, and some kind of grain. It really helps with grocery costs and it is local produce and meat when available. We love it. I try to make at least 4-5 meals out of the share. We havent gotten two shares yet because I am afraid some of the fruits and vegtables might not last long enough for us to use them. All of the meat is frozen when you pick it up. Our pick up is here in Tooele at St. Barnabas Church the last Saturday of the month. They have locations for pic-up along the Wasatch front from Ogden to Nephi and also one in Park City. Check it out!!!!

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 lbs. chicken drumsticks
2 8oz. top sirloin steaks
1 lb. pork spare ribs
1 package mushrooms
4 ears corn (local)
2 cucumbers (local)
1 bag spinach
1 head of broccoli
5 plums
4 peaches
5 bananas
Stone Ground's Artisan Wheat Loaf
16 oz. pinto beans

Balanced

Today was a good day. My kids were not perfect and I did not win the lottery but, I laughed a lot, I had some quaility time with the kids, Quaility time with the hubby, talked with some friends, I made a good diner that everyone ate without complaint, I had some free time to myself. I worked a little and cleaned a little. All the dishes are out of my sink and the counters are clean. I only remember yelling once when Cayson put his Mac and cheese bowl on his head for a hat but, then I laughed. A near perfect day or should I say very balanced day. Nothing extrodinary nothing but an ordinary day with the ones I love. I almost don't want to go to bed.

Dora the Explorer

Cayson is in love with Dora. I believe it is his first crush. He watched Dora on and off for the 16 hour drive home from Washington ( I will post pics of our Vacation later) and he was quiet the whole time. He only made a sound when the DVD's were over. I will have to get a recording of him singing the theme song it is pretty funny.

5 stitches

Cayson bonked his head on something this morning and ended up getting 5 stitches. He was a trooper through the whole thing and I think I probably cried more than he did. I really am done with the ER visits for awhile.

Coby Qualifies Again!!!

June 19, 2009
Aldrich Shoots Lowest SA Qualifying Score of 65Chris Aldrich shot the lowest score of the year at any Utah State Am qualifying round when he shot a 65 at the difficult Overlake course in Tooele today. While the course gave up the lowest medalist score of the year it also provided the highest qualifying score, a 75.

Coby Duffin finished two shots higher than Aldrich at 67, and Greg Dixon, the golf course superintendent, was the only other player to break par with a 70.There were 11 players who shot 75 or better to advance to the Utah State Am finals at Valley View in July. Only two qualifying sessions remain, at Glenmoor on Saturday, and Gladstan on Monday.

The results:
65- Chris Aldrich
67- Coby Duffin
70- Greg Dixon
74- Clark Hill

BrieAnn's Preschool Graduation

BrieAnn had her pre-school graduation tonight (even though she will be going again next year) she did really good and said her part "Don't talk to stangers" very well. It was fun to watch all the kids on stage. None of the pictures from the ceremony turned out they were all blury partly due to moving kids and partly due to Cayson trying to run around. Oh well we took a couple cute ones before. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting. Days like this make me want to pause time for a little while.
