Fresh Fruits and Vegtables

For the last three months we have been getting a share of food from the co-op. https://foodco-op.net. It is a really cool program where you buy in for a a share or two or however many shares of food you want. The program is for anyone who EATS! The cost for one share is 23 dollars. It is available all year long. This month the share is below. The normal share is about 4 kinds of meat, 5 vegtables, 4 fruits, a loaf of bread, and some kind of grain. It really helps with grocery costs and it is local produce and meat when available. We love it. I try to make at least 4-5 meals out of the share. We havent gotten two shares yet because I am afraid some of the fruits and vegtables might not last long enough for us to use them. All of the meat is frozen when you pick it up. Our pick up is here in Tooele at St. Barnabas Church the last Saturday of the month. They have locations for pic-up along the Wasatch front from Ogden to Nephi and also one in Park City. Check it out!!!!

Balanced

Today was a good day. My kids were not perfect and I did not win the lottery but, I laughed a lot, I had some quaility time with the kids, Quaility time with the hubby, talked with some friends, I made a good diner that everyone ate without complaint, I had some free time to myself. I worked a little and cleaned a little. All the dishes are out of my sink and the counters are clean. I only remember yelling once when Cayson put his Mac and cheese bowl on his head for a hat but, then I laughed. A near perfect day or should I say very balanced day. Nothing extrodinary nothing but an ordinary day with the ones I love. I almost don't want to go to bed.

Dora the Explorer

Cayson is in love with Dora. I believe it is his first crush. He watched Dora on and off for the 16 hour drive home from Washington ( I will post pics of our Vacation later) and he was quiet the whole time. He only made a sound when the DVD's were over. I will have to get a recording of him singing the theme song it is pretty funny.
